Last night I could not get to sleep, for some reason my mind was racing and I was having a hard time catching some Z.'s anyway I decided to turn on the TV at about 245 in the morning and while flipping through the channels, something caught my eye. What I saw was an infomercial promoting a new exercise product called the Hawaii Chair. I have to say at first I was shocked... I mean, where do they come up with this stuff? Isn't going out for a walk or run every day good enough? I guess not.

Even though I thought the Hawaii Chair was a little crazy at first, for some reason I ended up watching the entire infomercial. I just couldn't stop watching, maybe it was something about the gyrating hips, or the really awkward work settings portrayed in the commercial, but whatever it was it held me captive for over 20 minutes. I was so interested in the Hawaii Chair, I seriously consider purchasing one... that's right, you read that correctly, I seriously consider purchasing one. The only thing holding me back at that very minute, was I did not feel like getting out of bed to go check my bank account and make sure I had enough to cover the Hawaii Chair.

I ended up being able to fall a sleep that night, but the next morning I couldn't stop thinking about the Hawaii Chair. I know, again, it sounds kind of crazy, but I began to justify to myself just why I thought I needed such a device at work. You see I work long hours and sometimes it is very difficult for me to steal 20 minutes to go for a workout... that's where the Hawaii Chair comes in to play! I mean how cool would it be to sit on my butt all day long and get a workout at the same time? It almost seems like the American dream... yes, I would be sitting down and working out at the same time. In fact, the Hawaii Chair, has a slogan that goes something like this... "if you can sit, you can be fit."

Anyway, not to continue boring you with my story, I could resist no longer. That's right, I picked up my phone, I dialed the toll-free number that I found at their website, and I ordered myself a Hawaii Chair! Was this an impulsive decision? I think not, after all I thought about it for over 12 hours, therefore making it a well thought-out purchase.

I got my Hawaii exercise chair in about a week and I have to say this chair is very well built... in fact, it is everything I wanted it to be and then some. Like I said it is very sturdy, and if you are so inclined you could literally work out for eight hours a day while at work, getting in shape the entire time. So while I am still a Hawaii chair "newbie", I can tell you that 2010 just may be the most fit year of my life, thanks to longer working hours and my Hawaii Chair!!!
